Weather in Galapagos Islands

The best time to visit the Galapagos Islands is during the transition months, between dry and wet season. However, any month of the year is good to visit the islands, and July has some interesting advantages to discover fascinating moments of the fauna there.

Although between January and March there are warmer temperatures, it is more attractive to travel to Galapagos between the months of July And September if you are a nature lover, specially if you like marine biodiversity. From July to September, the cold currents of the ocean create a greater marine activity.

During the dry season there are fewer rainfalls and islands are drier, but cooler. The temperature of the water decreases considerably, but it is the ideal season to observe more aquatic life, since animals prefer cool currents of water. The water temperature in July in Galapagos Islands doesn’t reach more than 68º F (21ºC).

The Enchanted Islands are like an oasis of peace unlike anywhere else on earth, so why not add it to your bucket list? Come and discover them by yourself! In Latin Trails, we have boutique yachts and exclusive tours for you.
